Where we live

Several people have asked about where we live. So I decided to put in a few photos and explain our house. We live not far from downtown Puriscal, about 6 or 7 minutes from the center of town. However, it is also very secluded. We live down a dirt road in a small valley surrounded by trees. There are three homes that were built for three brothers. We rent the middle house from one brother and the other two live in the other houses. It is a very roomy house by Tico standards and we were extremely fortunate to have found it.

This is Karen’s garden behind the house.

One of the two mango trees on the hill behind our house.

Lots of guavas!

These are limes. Matt likes to eat them!

  1. Cool! It looks so beautiful. 🙂 Is a fresh grown lime different than a store bought one in America?

  2. The guavas are good, but I don't like trying to get around all the seeds. I prefer having guava juice or guava jelly.

The limes are pretty much the same as in the US.
